Services

The Library services are oriented towards meeting the information needs of deputies and senators, bodies of the Sejm, parliamentary factions, organizational units of the Chancellery of the Sejm and deputies’ offices, and also staff working directly for the Sejm and the Senate, i.e. staff of the both Chancelleries, deputies’ offices and parliamentary factions.

In practice, the Library is trying to pursue a “semi-open door” policy, serving individuals and institutions (e.g. academics, journalists, central administration staff) whose scientific, professional or information needs can only be satisfied by the Library unique collections, with some limitations, however, resulting from the “User Services Regulations“.
